General Information:
Do Good Foods was founded to focus on sustainable infrastructure and to advance its critical mission of fighting food waste and combatting climate change. The Company is taking an important step to put the business in a position to succeed and allow us to continue pursuing our goals.
On June 16, 2023, Do Good Foods (“DGF”) initiated a voluntary court-supervised Chapter 11 process. As part of this process, DGF received a commitment for ~$30 million in new financing to support its business. Do Good Foods is continuing to execute on contracts and expansion plans and operate as normal, picking up food waste from its partners, upcycling it and selling its products to its retailers and food service clients nationally.
The cases are proceeding before the Honorable Craig T. Goldblatt, and are jointly administered under KDC Agribusiness LLC, Case No. 23-10786, in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the “Bankruptcy Court”).
