General Information:
On July 7, 2009, the Reorganized Debtors filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the "Bankruptcy Code").
On November 5, 2009, the Bankruptcy Court entered the Confirmation Order approving the Debtors' First Amended Joint Plan of Reorganization Under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. On November 6, 2009, the Ontario Supreme Court of Justice (commercial List) entered the Recoginition Order. The Effective Date is November 9, 2009.
The twenty-four Debtors are jointly administered under Case No. 09-14326 (collectively, the "Bankruptcy Cases"). The Bankruptcy Cases are pending before the before the Honorable Allan L. Gropper in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Pursuant to the Bankruptcy Code (specifically including, but not limited to, 11 U.S.C. § 362), a debtor is afforded certain protection against its creditors; the Bankruptcy Code prohibits creditors from taking certain actions related to debts that may have been owing prior to the commencement of the Bankruptcy Cases. If you believe that you might be a creditor of the Debtors based upon debts arising prior to July 7, 2009 and you are considering taking action based upon your status as a creditor, you may wish to seek legal advice. The staff of the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court and the staff of Kurtzman Carson Consultants LLC are not permitted to give legal advice.

OMNIBUS HEARING DATES: There are no Omnibus Hearings currently scheduled.
Requirements for Telephonic Participation in Hearings:
Please note that if you wish to participate in a hearing by telephone, you must, at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled hearing, (1) request permission from chambers and (2) notify Paul Wierbicki via email at paul.wierbicki@kirkland.com, counsel to the Debtors. If chambers permits telephonic participation, you may arrange such telephonic participation with Court Call. Adherence to the procedures for telephonic participation applicable in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York is required. Please note that: (1) speakerphones may not be used; (2) parties participating by phone must put their phones on “mute” except when they need to be heard; and (3) parties so participating are not to put their phones on “hold” in any circumstances.
