Searching a Document List
The search panel (opened by clicking the Search heading) can be used to locate entries in the document list based on values that appear in the list fields.
There is a search-term field for each column in the list (except for file size):
- Court Document Number List: Specifies one or more numbers, or a range of numbers, in the fields in the Court Document # column. For specific documents, enter the numbers separated by commas: 35, 76, 429. Leading zeroes, such as the "00" in 0035, can be omitted. To retrieve all documents in a range of numbers, enter the range separated by a hyphen: 284-295. The methods can be used together: 35, 76, 284-295, 429.
- Date Filed From, Date Filed To: Specifies a range of dates in the fields in the Date Filed column. Enter dates in mm/dd/yyyy format by typing, or click the calendar icons and click to select dates.
- Document Name: Searches the fields in the Document Name column for matching characters or a phrase. Characters and spaces must match exactly, although capitalization is ignored. Type or paste the characters or phrase. The characters or phrase can appear anywhere in the column.
