Q: Why did the Company file for Chapter 11?

A: The Company’s decision to file voluntary petitions for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code is consistent with our plans to position GT for future success. We will use this process to firmly position the company for long-term success.

Q: Is the Company going out of business?

A: No. We will use the Chapter 11 process to ensure our long-term financial health, while continuing to operate in the normal course of business. We remain committed to maintaining our strong vendor relationships.

Q: Will you pay me for products and services that I provide from today going forward?

A: In conjunction with its filing, the Company is seeking debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing. The Company expects that the DIP financing, combined with its $85 Million of cash will provide the Company with sufficient liquidity to meet its post-petition operating expenses.

Q: How do I file my claim for money owed to me before your filing? When can I expect a check for my outstanding bills? Will I be paid in full?

A: As is customary in Chapter 11 proceedings, payment for pre-filing obligations will be subject to court approval to pay them as part of the reorganization. We recognize the challenges this may present and we are doing everything we can to expedite the Chapter 11 process.

Q:How long do you expect the Company to remain in Chapter 11?

A: We intend to move through the chapter 11 process as quickly as possible. It is too early to say how long that process will take.

Q: Does the Company have enough cash to operate normally?

A: In conjunction with its filing, the Company is seeking debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing. The Company expects that the DIP financing, combined with its $85 Million of cash will provide the Company with sufficient liquidity to meet its post-petition operating expenses.

Q: What can I expect in the future?

A: The objective of this process is to create a healthier and stronger company that is well equipped to continue meeting the current and future needs of our customers and to grow long-term. Quality products and services both now and in the future are key to achieving this goal.

Q: Will my contact remain the same?
