The deadline for the filing of governmental proofs of claim against the Debtors in these cases is October 20, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. (prevailing Central Time). The Debtors filed their Schedules of Assets and Liabilities and Statements of Financial Affairs on June 30, 2020. The Schedules for the Debtors can be located on the bankruptcy court’s lead case docket at ECF No. 359-424 or on KCC’s website under the Schedules / Statements link.

What is a Plan? What is a Disclosure Statement?

The disclosure statement is a document that must provide adequate information about a debtor’s financial affairs to creditors and interest holders, so they may make an informed decision about whether to accept or reject the plan.

The plan is a blueprint for how the debtor intends to proceed through the liquidation process. The Bankruptcy Court must decide whether the proposed plan meets all of the requirements of the federal Bankruptcy Code.

Where can I find a copy of the Plan and Disclosure Statement?

The Debtors have not yet filed a Plan and Disclosure Statement. Once filed, it will be available on this website and will be served on all known creditors.
