In re Keystone Tube Company, LLC (A.M. Castle & Co.), Case No. 17-11330 (LSS) Jointly Administered
United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Delaware
General Information:
On June 18, 2017, the below debtors (the "Debtors") filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the "Bankruptcy Code"). The cases (collectively, the "Bankruptcy Cases") are jointly administered under Case No. 17-11330 before the Honorable Laurie Selber Silverstein in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the "Bankruptcy Court").
Prior to filing the Bankruptcy Cases, on May 15, 2017, the Debtors commenced solicitation of votes on a proposed Prepackaged Joint Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization (the "Plan") by distributing the Plan, a Disclosure Statement describing the Plan, and ballots to certain creditors entitled to vote under the Plan. The deadline to vote on the Plan was June 2, 2017. On August 2, 2017, the Bankruptcy Court approved the Disclosure Statement and confirmed the Plan after a combined hearing. The Effective Date of the Plan occurred on August 31, 2017.

Pursuant to the Bankruptcy Code (specifically including, but not limited to, 11 U.S.C. § 362), a debtor is afforded certain protection against its creditors; the Bankruptcy Code prohibits creditors from taking certain actions related to debts that may have been owing prior to the commencement of the Bankruptcy Cases. If you believe that you might be a creditor of the Debtors based upon debts arising prior to June 18, 2017 and you are considering taking action based upon your status as a creditor, you may wish to seek legal advice. The staff of the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court and the staff of KCC are not permitted to give legal advice.

Parties who wish to obtain an unredacted list of creditors, or "creditor matrix," for the purpose of filing pleadings in the Bankruptcy Cases may submit a request via email to pkeane@pszjlaw.com and AMCastleInfo@kccllc.com.
The meeting of creditors pursuant to section 341 of the Bankruptcy Code (the "Meeting of Creditors") has not yet been scheduled. By Court Order the 341(a) Meeting has been waived unless the Plan is not confirmed on or before March 30, 2018, without prejudice to the Debtors’ right to request further extension thereof.
Rule 9001(5) of the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure requires that a representative of the Debtor appear at the Meeting of Creditors for the purpose of being examined under oath by a representative of the Office of the United States Trustee and by any interested parties that attend the meeting. Creditors are welcome, but not required, to attend the meeting. The Meeting of Creditors may be continued or adjourned by notice at the meeting, without further written notice to creditors.
